Minapa sunnundalu (urad dal ladoo)

Ingredients
Quantity
Urad  dal(minapagullu)
1 cup
Jaggery
1 cup
Rice
2 table spoon
Melted ghee
1/2 cup

Preparation method

  1. 1.     Dry roast urad dal and rice on a medium low flame until turns golden brown in color.
  2. 2.     Then transfer to a plate and allow it to cool down.
  3. 3.     Later grind the dal into a fine powder, and keep it aside.
  4. 4.     Also powder jiggery finely and mix with powdered dal.
  5. 5.     Melt ghee and pour this hot ghee on top of the urad dal mixture.
  6. 6.     Mix well with hand(yes you can handle it)until ghee mixes well with the dal mixture.
  7. 7.     Do not let the mixture stand for a long time as it tends to dry soon.
  8. .     Take small portions of the mixture and shape into small balls.
  9.       Arrange them on a plate to dry for some time and enjoy the taste of these ladoos.
