Red sorrel leaves aava pulihora (gongura aava pulihora)








Ingredients

Red sorrel leaves paste
1 cup
Cooked rice
2 cups
Green chili

Black gram

Chana dal
1 table spoon
Peanuts
1 table spoon
Oil
2 table spoon
Tamarind paste
2 table spoon
Turmeric
¼ tea spoon
Salt
To taste
Hinge
¼ tea spoon
Curry leaves
Few
Mustard seeds powder
1 table spoon

Preparation method

  1. Wash the red sorrel leaves and dry it for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add red sorrel leaves, fry it for 5 minutes then transfer to a plate. And grind it into smooth paste.
  3. In the same pan add oil to fry then add Chana dal until fry then add peanuts, black gram , mustard seeds, green chili, red chili, turmeric, curry leaves, hinge fry it well . Then add tamarind paste.Mix it and fry it for 1 minute then switch off the flame.
  4. Take a wide bowl, add cooked rice and add red sorrel leaves paste and mix it  well then add the seasoning, salt mix it all together. Finally add mustard seeds powder mix it well. This is very tasty and healthy recipe.
  5. You can serve it in festival time or breakfast.
