Spinach (palak) fried rice




Ingredients
Quantity
Boiled rice
2 cups
Palak paste(spinach paste)
2 cups
Whole garam masala
1 table spoon
Garam masala powder
2 table spoon
Amchur powder
1 table spoon
Chopped potato
1 cup
Chopped carrot
1 cup
Chopped beans
1 cup
Green peas
½ cup
Chopped onions
1 cup
Ginger garlic paste
1 table spoon
Green chills
6
Salt
To taste
Oil
4 table spoon

Preparation method

  1. Boil rice keep it aside. Then half boil all the vegetables cook in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Then remove the water keep it a side.
  2. In a heavy bottomed pan , add ghee sauté the garam masala (cloves,cinenmon, bay leaves, elachi) fry it for 2 seconds after that add ginger, garlic paste add green chills, onions cooked vegetables fry it for 5 minutes. Then add salt, amchur powder, garam masala fry it for 2 minutes after that add spinach  paste fry it   for 3 minutes, then switch off the flame.
  3. When it cools down then add the masala and vegetables to the rice and mix it well.
  4. Then garnish with cashews. Serve this with. Onion raitha.
