Black eyed beans vada






Ingredients
Quantity
Black eye beans
1 cup
Grated cabbage
½ cup
Grated carrot
½ cup
Chopped onion
1
Green chilly

Ginger
Small piece
Salt
To taste
Oil
Deep fry
Coriander leaves
Few
Curry leaves
Few
Cumin seeds
1 tea spoon
Mint leaves
few

Preparation method

  1. Wash the black eye beans,soak it in 2 cups of water for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Add black eyed beans, green chills, ginger, cumin seeds and salt and make a coarse paste. After that add grated cabbage, carrot, onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, mint leaves and mix it well.
  3. Heat the pan add oil to it. When the oil is heated take about 2 table spoons of oil into the masala vada mixture and mix it well. After that make round balls and make round shape vadas and put it into the oil.               
  4. Then fry it until golden brown color. Then vada is ready.
  5. You can serve with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
