Red sorrel leaves aava pulihora (gongura aava pulihora)








Ingredients

Preparation method

  1. Wash the red sorrel leaves and dry it for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add red sorrel leaves, fry it for 5 minutes then transfer to a plate. And grind it into smooth paste.
  3. In the same pan add oil to fry then add Chana dal until fry then add peanuts, black gram , mustard seeds, green chili, red chili, turmeric, curry leaves, hinge fry it well . Then add tamarind paste.Mix it and fry it for 1 minute then switch off the flame.
  4. Take a wide bowl, add cooked rice and add red sorrel leaves paste and mix it  well then add the seasoning, salt mix it all together. Finally add mustard seeds powder mix it well. This is very tasty and healthy recipe.
  5. You can serve it in festival time or breakfast.

Black eyed beans sambar (alasandala sambar)








Ingredients

Black eyed beans

Tour dal
1 cup
Mixed vegetables
1 cup
Green chili

Preparation method

  1. Wash the tour dal and black eyed beans and soak it for water 1 hour then cook it for 3 whistles.
  2. Then remove the water and grind it smooth paste.
  3. Heat the wide pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chili, curry leaves fry it well then add mixed vegetables fry it for 2 minutes then add little bit of water, and add tamarind juice, turmeric salt mix it and cook it for 15 minutes. when the vegetables is cooked then add green chili, tomatoes   and add grinded dal paste, sambar powder, grated coconut pinch of jaggery   mix it cook it for 5 more minutes then  finally  garnish with coriander leaves.
  4. This is very tasty and healthy sambar.
  5. You can serve it with hot plain rice or idly, vada very tasty..  

Black eyed beans carrot biryani

Preparation method

  1. Wash the black eyed beans and soak it for overnight. And remove the water.
  2. Take pressure pan and add soaked beans 2 cups of water add salt, turmeric and cook it for 3 whistles .Then remove the water
  3. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add whole garam masala (cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, saahi jeera) fry it for 1 minute then add ginger garlic paste fry it for 1 minute then add onions
  4.   fry it for 3 minutes then add chopped carrot mix it and fry it for 5 minutes then add cooked beans, salt, dania cumin powder, chat masala powder, garam masala powder mix it well and fry it for 5 minutes then add cooked rice mix it well then garnish with coriander leaves..
  5. You can serve it with onion raitha very tasty and healthy.

Spinach Cut Pongali

Yellow moong dal

Preparation method

  1. Wash the spinach and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the pan ,add ghee to fry then add crushed pepper powder, cumin seeds, chopped ginger green chili,curry leaves.Fry it for 1 minute then switch off the flame.
  3. Take the pressure pan add rice, yellow moong dal.Wash it and add 5 cups of water.Mix it and add salt,fried seasoning then add turmeric and cook it for 2 whistles then switch off the flame.
  4. Then garnish with fried cashews.
  5. This is very tasty and healthy break fast recipe
  6. You can serve it with coconut chutney or sambar.

Kulfi







Ingredients

Preparation method

  1. In a Mixy Grinder add cashew,almonds and grind it into coarse powder.keep it aside
  2. Take a wide bowl add sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk, mix it well then add heavy whipping cream, cool whipping cream  and mix it well all together then add dry fruits powder and mix it well
  3. Pour mixture into small Dixie style plastic cups, cover cups with foil and insert a wooden ice cream stick into the center
  4. Then put it in the Freezer.
  5. Next day your kulfi is ready to serve.

  1. Wash the beans and soak it for overnight in water. Then cook the beans with       2 cups of water salt, turmeric for 3 whistles.Remove the water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then fry black gram until red then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, curry leaves, red chilies fry it for 1 minute then add grated coconut fry it for 1 minute then add cooked beans mix it and add salt mix it well and cook it for 5 more minutes then switch off the flame.
  3. This is very tasty and healthy curry.
  4. You can serve it with chapatti and plain rice very tasty.

Rava ladoo

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan, add ghee to fry then add dry fruits fry it for 1 minute. Then keep it aside.
  2. The same pan grated coconut fry it for 1 minute then switch off the flame.
  3. Take a wide bowl add roasted sooji rava add sugar, grated coconut cardamom powder, dry fruits mix it well then add little bit of milk add it and prepare round shape balls.
  4. This is very tasty and healthy sweet. 

Strawberry Gulab Jamun

Preparation method

  1. In a wide Bowl add gulab jamun powder and strawberry milk.Mix it and prepare like chapatti dough and keep it aside for 5 minutes only.
  2. For Sugar Syrup:Heat the pan,add sugar and add little bit of water and mix it and cook it for one thread consistency and mix it with cardamom powder,2drops of rose essence, mix it and switch off the flame.
  3. Then take gulab jamun dough and prepare round shape balls, keep aside.
  4. Heat the pan, add ghee or oil, to fry then add jamuns fry it until golden brown color in medium flame. Then put it in the sugar syrup. After 2 hours they are ready to serve.
  5. This is very tasty Gulab Jamun.

Coconut chutney

Preparation method        

  1. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add Chana dal, black gram, mustard seeds fry it for 1 minute then add red chili, hinge fry it well.
  2. Add grated coconut, green chili, red chili, salt, turmeric, tamarind grind it into a coarse paste then add fried seasoning mix it and grind it one more time then put it into serving bowl.
  3. You can serve it with hot plain rice or dosa idly very tasty..

Eggplant mint leaves curry

Preparation method

  1. Wash the Eggplant and cut into long thin slices and keep them in water. Wash the mint leaves and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add peanuts, red chili, cumin seeds fry it until red color then switch off the flame and grind it to a coarse powder.
  3. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mint leaves fry it for 1 minute then add eggplant and turmeric fry it for 5to 10 minutes.When the eggplant is cooked then add salt, grinded powder mix and fry it for 3 more minutes then switch off the flame.
  4. You can serve it with hot plain rice or chapatti.Very tasty and healthy.

Bell pepper curry (capsicum)

Preparation method

  1. Wash the bell pepper and cut into long slices keep it aside. And tomatoes, potato cut into medium size pieces keep it aside
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then capsicum pieces fry it for 5 minutes then add onions, tomatoes , potato fry it for 5 minutes then add turmeric powder salt mix it and fry it for 5 more minutes then add curry powder mix it well and fry it for 1 minute then switch off the flame.
  3. You can serve it with plain rice or chapatti, very tasty.

Green peas paratha

Preparation method

  1. Take a wide bowl, add wheat flour, salt,oil and prepare a chapatti dough.keep it aside.
  2. Take a mixer grinder.Add green chilli, garlic cloves and grind it to a coarse paste.
  3. Cook Green peas in microwave for 5 minutes then remove the water and mash it.
  4. Heat the pan,add oil ,cumin seeds and fry it.Then add mashed green peas,salt, cumin Dania powder, chat masala powder, garam masala powder and green chili paste.Fry it for 5 minutes then switch off the flame.Green peas stuffing is ready.
  5. Take the chapatti dough and prepare small balls.
  6. Then take rolling pin and prepare round shape chapatti and stuff it and close the sides then again roll it to round shape parathas. Then put it on chapatti pan and toast it on both sides with ghee.
  7. Very tasty and healthy parathas ready to serve.
