Preparation method
- Soak the Chana dal in water for 1 hour. Then drain the water, and add green chili, ginger, cumin seeds mix it and grind it into a coarse paste keep it aside.
- Take the batter and put it in the idly stand and then place the idly stands in the idly cooker and steam it for 20 minutes. Let the idly cool down then grind it into a coarse powder.
- Heat the pan add oil to fry then add black gram, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fry it until it becomes red then add chopped onions, red chili powder, curry leaves, turmeric, salt fry them well. Then add chopped cluster beans fry and stir it well and cover the lid for 10 minutes. After that add grinded Chana dal powder mix it and fry it for 20 minutes then switch off the flame
- You can serve it with plain rice or chapatti. It is very tasty.
