Cucumber tomato dal





Ingredients
Quantity
Chopped cucumber pieces
1 cup
Chopped tomatoes

Tour dal
1 cup
Green chili

Red chili powder
1 tea spoon
Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Tamarind juice
To taste
Salt
To taste
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds
1tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds

Oil
1 table spoon

Preparation method

  1. Wash the cucumber and cut it into medium size pieces and remove the seeds.
  2. Take the pressure cooker and add wash the tour dal, cucumber pieces, and add chopped tomato and add water mix it and cook it for 3 whistles.
  3. Let the pressure cool down, then add salt green chili, turmeric, and add tamarind juice mix it and cook it for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds fry it well then add hinge red chili powder , fry  them well then put it into the dal, then garnish with coriander leaves curry leaves.
  5. You can serve it with hot plain rice or chapatti very tasty.
