Raw banana ava curry



Ingredients
Quantity
Chopped raw banana
2
Green chili
3
Red chili powder
1 tea spoon
Tamarind paste
1 tea spoon
Curry leaves
Few
Salt
To taste
Turmeric
Pinch
Black gram
1 tea spoon
Chana dal
1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds powder
1 table spoon

Preparation method

  1. Wash the banana and cut it into medium size pieces and soak it in salt water.
  2. Take the pressure cooker and add banana pieces, water, and salt turmeric, mix it and cook it for 2 whistles .Then switch off the flame
  3. Let the pressure cool down then drain it and mash it well.
  4. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add black gram, chana dal, mustard seeds fry it for 2 minutes then add green chili, curry leaves, red chili powder   fry   them well. Then add cooked raw banana pieces, salt, tamarind paste mix it and cook it for 3 more minutes then switch off the flame.
  5. Finally add mustard seeds powder mix it well.
  6. You can serve it with plain rice or roti and it is very tasty.
