Yam 65 (kanda)

Preparation method

  1. Wash the yam and cut it into medium pieces. Then half boil it.
  2. Half boil the yam pieces then drain the water and keep it aside
  3. Take a wide bowl  and add red chili paste, salt, pepper powder, garam masala powder, chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves, corn flour, Maida mix them well and add water mix it prepare a  bajji batter. Then mix the half boiled yam pieces into the bajji batter.
  4. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add yam pieces put them in the oil then fry it them until they become a golden brown color. Then keep aside.
  5. The same pan, add oil and add onion slices, curry leaves, green chili fry them well.
  6. Then put it into the fried yam pieces
  7. This is very tasty with biryani

Lemon rice

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add Chana dal, black gram, mustard seeds, peanuts, sauté and add green chili, red chili, turmeric, hinge fry them well.
  2. Take a wide bowl add white rice , salt, mix it well . Then add fried seasonings, lemon juice mix it all together.
  3.  This is very tasty and yummy.

Tomato drumstick curry

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds, black gram, cumin seeds fry them well.                   
  2. Then turmeric, onions, green chili salt fry, then add ginger garlic paste fry it for 1 minute add tomatoes cooked it well.
  3. Then add drumsticks, tamarind juice, all spices mix it and stir it well, and cook it for 10 minutes.
  4. Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
  5. You can serve it with plain rice with ghee. It is very tasty.

Ridge guard skin,tomatodal curry(beera pottu tomato dal curry)

Preparation method

  1. Wash the ridge guard and peel the skin then keep it aside. Then grind it into a coarse paste.
  2. Take the pressure cooker add grinded paste, moong dal chopped tomatoes, turmeric, and add water mix them and cook it for 3 whistles.
  3. Let the cool down the pressure then transfer to a bowl.
  4. Heat the pan add oil to fry, then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black gram, fry them well.
  5. Then add green chili, curry leaves, garlic pods red chili powder, hinge fry it all together. After that add cooked dal, salt mix it and cook it for 5 more minutes.
  6. Finally garnish with coriander leaves
  7. You can serve it with plain rice with ghee. It is very tasty...

Ridge guard rava pulusu curry

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds fry them well .Then add red chili powder  mix it and fry it well . Then ridge guard slices, turmeric, salt ,mix it and cook it for 10 minutes then add tamarind juice mix it and stir it well.
  2. Take a bowl add rice flour and add water mix it well. Then put it into the curry. And cook it for 5 more minutes then switch off the flame.


You can serve it with plain rice.

Tutty fruity cookies

Preparation method

  1. Take a wide bowl add butter, powder sugar mix them well then add milk mix it all together.
  2. After that add all purpose flour, tutti fruity pieces, mix them well and make soft dough. Then prepare round shape balls. And transfer them into a baking tray.
  3. Preheat the oven for 180c
  4. Then put it in the oven at 180c for 15 to 20 minutes.

Mango custurd cookies






Ingredients

All-purpose flour
250 grams

Mango custard powder

Preparation method

  1. Take a wide bowl add all purpose flour and add custard powder mix it well.
  2. Take another bowl add butter, sugar powder, mix and beaten it well .then add milk mix them well
  3. After that add dry ingredients mix them and prepare soft dough. Then prepare round shape balls then coat with the icing sugar. Then keep it aside. Then transfer to a baking tray take a fork and press it on the top of the roundels
  4. Then bake them at 180 c for 15 to 20 minutes.

Urad dal jantikalu





Ingredients

Rice flour
4 cups
Urad dal flour
1 cup
Butter
50 grams
Ajwain
2 table spoons

Preparation method

  1.  Take a wide bowl and add rice flour, urad flour, salt, hot ghee, chili pwd, ajwain and combine them well. Slowly add water little by little to make soft dough, just soft enough that it is pressed through easily with the janthikalu press. Test the dough for salt and chilli pwd before deep-frying.
  2.  Heat a wide heavy bottomed vessel with enough oil for deep frying. Take the janthikalu gottam aka murukku press and use the disc with small holes. Fill half of the press with the dough and once the oil is hot, reduce to medium flame and using circular motion, press the jantikalu gottam to make concentric layers of the janthikalu dough. As you press the dough into the hot oil, you will find the oil froth up in bubbles which will eventually subside as the janthikalu turn to a golden shade. Remember the frying has to be done on medium flame to achieve that golden color and crispness.
  3.  When the janthikalu turn a golden color, turn over to the other side and let it also cook to a golden brown. Use a slotted ladle to remove onto an absorbent paper and cool. Repeat the same process till the rest of the dough is done. Cool completely before storing in an air tight container.

Bread cutlets

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan, add oil to fry then add ginger garlic paste, green chili paste fry it for 1 minute. Then add mashed potato, cooked vegetables, salt, mix it and fry it for 2 minutes, then add all spices mix it and stir it well.
  2. Take a wide bowl add Maida, corn flour mix it and add water prepare a liquid then keep it aside.
  3. Let the curry cool down. Prepare oval shape, and then keep it aside. After that take the ovals and dip it in the corn flour liquid and then cover it with bread crumbles.
  4. Then heat the pan, and take the oval fry it for both sides and add apply oil and fry in a golden brown color.
  5. You can serve it with tomato sauce. it is very tasty.

Bell pepper sesame seeds fry

  2. Let the cool down then grind it into a powder.
  3. Heat the pan, add oil to fry then add the bell pepper fry it for 10 minutes. Then add salt, Sesame seeds powder mix it and stir it well. Then garnish with coriander leaves.
  4. You can serve it with plain rice or chapatti. It is very tasty.

  2. The same pan, add oil to fry then add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, green chili, turmeric, fry it for 10 minutes. Then switch off the flame.
  3. Take the mixer grinder and add fried cabbage, red chili, and tamarind, salt, mix it and grind it into a coarse paste. Then add half off the seasoning mix it and grind it one more time.
  4. Then transfer to a bowl and remaining part of the seasoning mix it into the chutney.
  5. You can serve it with white rice or dosa. It is very tasty.
