Bell pepper moong dal patoli






Ingredients

Bell pepper

Whole moong dal
1 cup
Green chilly

Cumin seeds
1 table spoon
Ginger
¼ inch
Salt
To taste
Cumin seeds
1 table spoon
Curry leaves

Black gram
1 table spoon
Turmeric
Pinch
Red chili powder
1 tea spoon
Grated coconut
2 table spoons

Preparation method

  1. Wash the bell pepper and cut into small pieces.
  2. Soak the moong dal in water for 2 to 3 hours. Then remove the water and keep it aside
  3. Put the moong dal, green chili, ginger, cumin seeds, and salt grind into a coarse paste. Then steam it for 20 minutes.
  4. Let it cool down. Then grind into a coarse powder
  5. Heat the pan add oil, when the oil is heated add cumin seeds, black gram, curry leaves, red chili powder fry it for 2 minutes then add bell pepper fry it for 5 minutes and add grind the powder and salt mix it well and then grated coconut fry it for 3 minutes. Then switch off the flame.
  6. You can serve with hot plain rice or chapatti...
