Oats and mixed vegetables kichidi






Ingredients
Quantity
Oats
1 cup
Moong dal (pesara pappu)
1 cup
Rice
1 cup
Green chili
6
Ginger
¼ inch
Crushed pepper corns
1 tea spoon
Spinach
1 cup
Mixed vegetables
1cup
Ghee
3 table spoon, 
Cumin seeds
salt                                                       
1 table spoon
To taste


preparation method

  1. Soak the moong dal, oats and rice for 30 minutes. Then remove the water
  2. Take the green chili, ginger and grind it into a coarse paste.
  3. Heat the pan add ghee. when the ghee is heated add cumin seeds, green chili paste, pepper corns fry it for 2 minutes then switch off the flame.
  4. Take the pressure pan and add oats, moong dal ,rice, salt, fried seasonings, mixed vegetables, spinach and add 7 cups of water mix it well and cook it for 2 whistles.
  5. Then you can serve hot with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
  6. This is very tasty and healthy breakfast.
