Beet root pulusu






Ingredients
Quantity
Grated beet root
2 cups
Chopped tomato
1 cup
Sliced onions
1 cup
Green chili
3
Salt
To taste
Turmeric
Pinch
Tamarind juice
To taste
Jaggery
To taste
Red chili powder
1 tea spoon
Fenugreek powder
½ tea spoon
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Hinge
Pinch
Coriander leaves
Few
Dry roast sesame seeds powder
 2 table spoons
Rice flour
2 table spoon

Preparation method

  1. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add grated beet root, tomato, onions fry it for 3 minutes then add, salt, turmeric green chili, tamarind juice and add water, and jaggery mix it well and cook it for 10 minutes
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds fry until pops then add fenugreek powder, red chili powder, hinge fry it for 2 minutes and mix it into the pulusu, and cook it for 5 more minutes then add dry roast sesame seeds powder, mix it well finally take a bowl and add rice flour little bit of water mix it and prepare a liquid and mix into the pulusu and cook it for 5 more minutes then switch off the flame.  And garnish with coriander leaves.
  3. This is very tasty and healthy pulusu. You can serve it with hot plain rice..
