Preparation method
- Wash the spinach and tour dal and cook it in the pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
- Let the pressure cool down and then add 1 glass of water and add salt, turmeric, green chili and chopped tender tamarind leaves, stir it well and cook it for 10 minutes.
- Heat the pan add oil, when the oil is heated add garlic cloves fry it for 2 minutes then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hinge, red chili powder , fry it for 2 minutes then mix it into the dal and cook it for 5 more minutes then switch off the flame.
- you can serve with hot plain rice with ghee
