Beerakaya Nulupindi(Ridge Gourd,Til) curry









Ingredients
Quantity
Chopped ridge guard  (beera kaya)
1 cup
Black gram
1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds
1 tea spoon
Green chili
3
Curry leaves
Few
Dry roast sesame seeds powder
2 table spoons
Salt
To taste
Oil
2 table spoons
Red chili powder
1 table spoon
Turmeric
pinch

Preparation method

  1. For seasoning add oil.when it is heated add blackgram,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,greenchilli,curryleaves,red chillipowder in the order
  2. Then add Ridge Gourd pieces,salt,turmeric and stir well.Cover the lid for 5min.
  3. Once cooked add the sesame seeds powder finally and switch off the flame immediatly 
  4. you can serve it with hot plain rice or chapatti.
