Sweet gavvalu











Ingredients
Quantity
Maida (all-purpose flour)
2 cups
Sooji rava
½ cup
Oil
Deep fry
Jaggery
2 ½ cup
Cardamom powder
1 table spoon
Salt
pinch

Preparation method

  1. Take a wide bowl and add Maida, sooji rava, pinch of salt, and add heated oil mix it well and make chapatti dough.
  2. Take a gavva board and make gavvalu and keep it aside.
  3. Heat the pan, add oil when the oil is heated put the gavvalu into the oil and fry it into a golden brown color. And keep it aside.
  4. Take a wide bowl and add jaggery add ½ cup of water and put it on the stove. Heat until the jaggery melts. Strain the syrup and heat again until it thickness. Take a cup of water and drop some syrup into it.
  5. If the syrup turns soft ball then your syrup is ready. And add cardamom powder to it. And add fried gavvalu to the syrup. Mix carefully to coat the syrup properly. Let it cool and then store them in an airtight container. Then tasty  sweet gavvalu are ready to eat.
