Oats punukulu








Ingredients
Quantity
Idly batter
1 cup
Rice flour
1 /2 cup
Oats
1 cup
Onion pieces
1 cup
Ginger
¼ inch
Green chilly
4
Cumin seeds
1 table spoon
Coriander leaves
Few
Oil
Deep fry
Salt
To taste
Cooking soda
pinch

Preparation method        

  1. Grind ginger, green chili, cumin seeds, coriander leaves into fine paste, keep it aside.
  2. Soak oats in hot water for 15 minutes. Then remove the water.
  3. Then take a bowl add idly batter ,salt, soda, chili paste, onions and mix it well then add oats and mix it again.
  4. Heat the pan add oil ,when the oil is heated make a round shape punukulu and fry it until golden brown color.
  5. You can serve with tomato ketch up or coconut chutney.
  6. This is very healthy and tasty snack.
