Preparation method
- Wash the spinach cut into small pieces keep it aside.
- Take a bowl and add tour dal, spinach and add turmeric, water into the pressure cooker and cook it for 3 whistles.
- Let the pressure cool down ,then add grated mango, salt, green chills and cook it for 15 minutes.
- Heat the pan add oil to it. When the oil is heated add mustard seeds, let them pop, then add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, hinge , garlic cloves red chili powder fry it for 2 minutes, then add mix into the dal and cook for 5 more minutes. Then garnish with curry leaves. And switch off the flame.
- You can serve with hot plain rice with ghee, or roti’s.
