Chinese spinach dal (bachali kura pappu)








Ingredients
Quantity
Chopped Chinese spinach
1 bunch


Green chili
3
Tour dal
1 cup
Cumin seeds
1 tea spoon
Black gram
1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Hinge
Pinch
Turmeric
Pinch
Salt
To taste
Oil
1 table spoon
Red chili powder
1 tea spoon



Preparation method

  1. Wash the Chinese spinach 2 to3 times and then put it into the pressure cooker with tour dal and add 2 cups of water and cook it for 3 whistles and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add Chana dal until fry red color then add black gram, mustard seeds, cumin seeds fry it for 1 minute then add green chili, red chili powder, hinge fry it for 1 minute then add mix to pappu and add salt mix it well and cook I for 5 more minutes
  3. Then switch off the flame. You can serve it with hot plain rice with ghee.
  4. Very tasty and healthy dal...
