Sago kichidi (saggu biyamu)









Ingredients

Sago (saggu biyamu)
1 cup


Onion

Dry roast peanut powder
1 table spoon
Grated coconut
1 table spoon
Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Curry leaves
Few
Green chili

Lemon juice
To taste
Salt
To taste
Oil
2 table spoon
Turmeric
pinch

Preparation method

  1. Soak the sago in water for 4 to 5 hours then remove the water keep it aside.
  2. Potatoes, and onions, green chili cut into pieces keep it aside.
  3. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add potatoes fry it for 3 minutes then keep it aside. The same pan add oil  and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fry it for 1 minute then add onions curry leaves green chili fry it 3 minutes then add sago fry it for 5 minutes and cover the lid.
  4.  Then remove the lid add salt, and peanut powder, grated coconut mix it well finally add fried potatoes mix it and switch off the flame then add lemon juice stir it well garnish with coriander leaves.
  5. You can serve it with breakfast or snack very tasty..
