Wood apple (velakkaya) chutney





Ingredients
Quantity
Wood apple (valakkaya )

Green chili

Red chili

Jaggery
1 table spoon
Salt
To taste
Red chili

Mustard seeds
1 tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds
1 tea spoon
Black gram
1 tea spoon
Turmeric
Pinch
Oil
1 table spoon

Preparation method        

  1. Wash the wood apple and break it and peel the skin and keep it aside
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, fry it for 1 minute then add red chili, hinge until fry then switch off the flame
  3. Put the wood apple skin, green chili, red chili, salt, turmeric,jaggery grind it into a coarse paste then add fried seasoning, coriander leaves mix it   and one more grind it.
  4. This is very tasty. You can serve it with hot plain rice .
