Preparation method
- Wash the green sorrel leaves and cut into small pieces then green chili cut into slices keep it aside.
- Cook the tour dal and green sorrel leaves, turmeric, and add 2 cups of water and put it into the pressure cooker and cook it for 3 whistles. Then cool down the pressure and transfer to bowl and add water, green chilies salt and cook it for 15 minutes.
- Heat the pan add oil to fry then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, hinge red chili powder fry it for 2 minutes then switch off the flame and put it into the dal. And cook it for 5 more minutes then switch off the flame.
- You can serve it hot plain rice with ghee.
