Gongura panner curry (red sorrel leaves)







Ingredients
Quantity
Red sorrel leaves
1 bunch
 Fried paneer cubes
1 cup
Green chili

Onion

Garlic cloves

Red chili powder
1 table spoon
Dania powder
1 tea spoon
Cumin powder
1 tea spoon
Turmeric
Pinch
Salt
To taste
Curry leaves
Few
Fenugreek powder
½ tea spoon

Preparation method

  1. Wash the red sorrel leaves for 2 to 3 times and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add onions until fry then add garlic cloves, green chili red sorrel leaves fry it for 4 minutes then switch off the flame.
  3. Let it cool down grind it smooth paste.
  4. Heat the pan add oil to fry then add cumin seeds, fry then add onions, curry leaves salt, turmeric mix it well and fry it for 2 minutes then add Dania powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, fenugreek powder mix it well and fry it for 1 minute then add little bit of water and cook it for 1 minute then add grind the paste mix it well and cook it for 5 more minutes then add fried pannier mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes then switch off the flame.
  5. You can serve it chapatti or biryani..
